About Us
History of Digital House
Digital House was formed in 2006 by San Diego video producer Pat Allen with the goal of providing a high-quality audiovisual, video production, and digital media facility suited to serve the needs of professionals and serious enthusiasts alike. Pat entered the field after finishing school at San Diego State and San Diego City College. Over the last 16 years he has been employed as a cameraman, editor, producer, and director throughout the United States and been involved in hundreds of live-switch broadcasts, pay-per-views, training films, sporting events, news programs, forensic videos, and countless marketing productions. We’ve been very fortunate to assemble the right mix of tools and talent to make this the company that provides friendly experiences with media to everyone in the San Diego and Southern California community.

Digital House San Diego Celebrates Creativity
Earning film credits with my friend DP Extraordinaire Mark for our recent shoot of Nobel Prize-winning Economist Harry Markowitz. Not only did we get to unleash the The HD Sony Cine Alta but our interview segments will be part of the upcoming film "The Price of Advice" due to screen at Sundance and Cannes this year.

Digital House San Diego Shares the Love of Video
- Transferring the entire 16mm film archive for the San Diego Zoo. We had boxes from floor to ceiling and the footage was jaw-dropping to see.
- Filming the legendary Patti LaBelle record a single at Studio West. I’ll never forget it.
- Any one of the 4 or 5 projects that we have going at any given time with master architect Norm Applebaum AIA. Whether conducting a tour of a famous grand estate he’s just finished or unveiling the newest modern house model at the kitchen table of an American Ambassador there’s always a sense that something new and surprising is happening.

DVD duplication Favorite
- Just finished a massive DVD duplication project for a Russian Music video company. They came to San Diego for DVD duplication and to rock. They accomplished both!
